POW-r ditheringMastering quality dithering modes for downsampling audio. REX file supportSupport for ReCycle/Reason audio files. Max for LivePowers a range of instruments and devices in Live Suite, and lets you customize or build your own devices, change the way Live works, and connect Live with the world around it.Ĭomplex warp modesAdvanced algorithms for stretching audio, ideal for working with mixed audio or full tracks.Īudio-slicingSlice audio to a Drum Rack or Sampler instance.Īudio to MIDIExtract harmony, melody or drums from an audio sample and convert it to MIDI. MIDI Effect Racks Updated for Live 11Combine MIDI effects into a single device, allowing for customized MIDI processing chains with simple Macro controlsĭrum Rack Updated for Live 11An instrument for layering samples, synths and effects in a classic 16-pad grid Instrument Racks Updated for Live 11Combine multiple instruments and effects into a single device, allowing for split and layered sounds with customized Macro controls WAV, AIFF, MP3, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC file supportĪbleton LinkA technology that keeps instances of Live and a growing collection of iOS apps in time over a wireless network. Generate or receive Pitch, Control, Clock and Trigger CV Velocity Chance New in Live 11Define ranges for velocity probability for subtle, humanized variations in the dynamics of your patterns. Note Chance New in Live 11Set the probability that a note or drum hit will occur and let Live generate surprising variations to your patterns that change over time. Tempo Following New in Live 11Live listens to and adjusts its tempo based on incoming audio in real time, making it a dynamic part of the band instead of the tempo source that everyone has to follow. MIDI Polyphonic Expression New in Live 11Add bends, slides and pressure for each individual note in a chord, add subtle expression variations, morph between chords and create evolving sonic textures more easily.Ĭapture MIDIRecall your best ideas after you’ve played them – Capture MIDI can turn what you played into MIDI clips, without having to think about recording. Linked-track editing New in Live 11Link two or more tracks to edit their content simultaneously. Group tracksUse multiple levels of groups to mix with greater flexibility and manage detailed arrangements more easily.Ĭomping New in Live 11Record multiple takes of a performance, then combine the best ones. Unlimited Instruments, Audio effects and MIDI effects per project Powerful MIDI sequencing of software and hardware instrumentsĪdvanced warping and real-time time-stretching Multitrack recording up to 32-bit/192 kHz Nondestructive editing with unlimited undo You simply open the device for editing once you have mapped the parameters you’d like, unfreeze it, click the Isotonik Logo and then freeze and save the device.Unique Session View for quick, intuitive composition, flexible performance and improvisation Now whilst they can’t update the Push screen on the fly, they have made it simple to do it. You can set the dials within the device to work on a 2-Way basis so that they give a remote view of the parameters current value, switch this off if you want to save CPU on a larger set.Īll of the mapping dials are within a floating window which can be set to Zoom and scale based on how large you drag the edges of the window to be. With Live Mapper LE they’ve worked through the first 16 parameters of each Audio Effect within Live and made Sur that when you map to them they’ll display the correct name and values of the parameters their mapped to. As they dug deeper though it seemed that whilst that was one advantage, it had it’s downside in that if you macro mapped to a parameter that had limited choices of values such as a Filter Type, then it’s macro value display would default to 0 to 127 rather than the actual value of the mapped parameter. Isotonik Studios looked at the Macro mapping in some detail though as it did have the advantage that you could rename macros and have these displayed on the Push screen. The initial challenge was to somehow create a device that could use dials to control parameters elsewhere in the Live set and have these displayed accurately on the Push screen, the standard workaround of creating a rack wouldn’t work as the parameters could be within an audio effect on a return track and didn’t want to leave the audio track we were working with. Isotonik Live Mapper LE is available as a FREE download. Isotonik Studios have released Isotonik Live Mapper LE, a MaxforLive device created as a proof of concept for a feature in their OKTOPUSH THREE MaxforLive Performance Template for Push THREE.
